My boyfriend just finished collecting these pieces for his transmog, which is a set I put together for him. In retrospect I realize that those boots might not be the best match for this set (they have too much blue on them!), but on the other hand I'm pretty sure that the available boots with a more red colour scheme were of a different model, and this is the model of boots I like best. Maybe they will have to do. I do love the helmet, from Ahn'Qiraj, combined with these shoulders, from Firelands.. :)
[Avenger's Crown], Head
[Immolation Shoulderguards] (heroic), Shoulders
[Grievous Gladiator's Scaled Chestpiece] (alliance), Chest
[Furious Gladiator's Ornamented Gloves], Hands
[Girdle of the Protector], Waist
[Grievous Gladiator's Scaled Legguards] (alliance), Legs
[Spike-Soled Stompers], Feet
[Red Sword of Courage], One-handed Sword
[Triptych Shield of the Ancients], Shield
Unfortunately for all you horde paladins out there, you will have to use different chest and leg pieces if you want this transmog because these Season 15 items look different for horde characters.
This character's name is Brayan and you can take a look at his armory here.

Priest transmog - Scorched
Hey! I'm back with another transmog, which of course means I have a school paper due today... There are just so many more important things to do than studying when there's a paper to write. Such as playing WoW. And making transmogs.
The base for this priest set are the Head piece and the Shoulder piece from Firelands Normal, combined with a robe from the Botanica. It might be worth noting that the mace used in this transmog has its own glow and effectively hides the enchant effect underneath, so you don't have to worry about having an enchant that doesnt match the outfit.

Trial Druid transmog - Verdant
As I talked about in my previous post, I enjoy playing on my trial account. Here's yet another of my trial characters, Hemavan (named after a skiing resort in Sweden...) She's a troll resto druid and here are two transmogs I made for her. In my last post I talked about how it's pretty hard to get heirlooms for trial characters. This is the reason why Hemavan is wearing cloth chest and shoulders in one picture; I haven't gotten hold of the leather heirlooms yet, and the cloth chest and shoulders give better stats than any equivalent leather items. The leather set is for later, when I have all the proper gear. Many items are from horde quests, just so you know.
I promise no frogs were harmed during this shoot!

About trial accounts
A few posts down in my blog I have a so called "trial transmog". I thought I'd tell you a little about what it's like playing on a trial account. Trial accounts are, most importantly in my case, free. I currently can't afford paying the monthly fee for playing WoW, and I simply don't have time to raid since I study. When I miss WoW too much I just simply log in to my trial account and do some low level dungeons instead.
Trial accounts have the following benefits:
It is possible to get heirlooms (which I have on my priest Mysfox, and my boyfriend has them on his trial shaman Ohej), but getting them is very time consuming if you are a new player. If you already have an account with high level characters you can access your old heirlooms from that account. If you're NOT using a trial account connected to a real account, you have to earn them from scratch. During Darkmoon Faire (starts first Sunday every month) you can collect Darkmoon Prize Tickets, and for about 110 of them you can get an Heirloom item. That means you might need 1-2 Darkmoon Faire weeks (2 months). You can also buy PvP Heirlooms for justice points.
This might sound like a whole lot of work for just a level 20 character, but it's part of the charm. All of my enchants and leatherworking enhancement kits are crafted by me and it's actually quite fun to know you're slowly going towards a set goal, unlike the "real" game in which new expansions are released and limits are pushed further. I enjoy not having to worry about getting full gear before the next expansion comes, when it will be worthless. It's enough for me at least :)
Trial accounts have the following benefits:
- They are free
- You can keep them for an unlimited time
- If you have the trial account connected to an already existing battle.net account, you get access to the same mounts, heirlooms and titles
- Maximum level 20, then you stop gaining experience
- It is not possible to lock your experience gain. You will reach 20 if you keep playing
- You can't trade or use the AH
- You can't use addons
- You can't use in game mail / postal service
- You can't invite people to a group (although you can accept party requests)
- You can only gain 10 gold, maximum
- You can only have 100 in the primary professions and you can't learn archaeology
- You can't visit Pandaria
- The only battlegrounds available are Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin - and also Alterac Valley and Eye of the Storm as of patch 6.0.2
- The only dungeons available are the Deadmines, Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns, Shadowfang Keep, Blackfathom Deeps and Stormwind Stockade
- You can only use /say, /party and /instance chats by default. You can only /whisper to people who whispered you first or if you both are on each other's friend list

Hunter transmog - Smoulder

|
[Crown of the Doomed Empress] (raid finder), Head [Yaungol Slayer's Spaulders] (raid finder), Shoulders [Royal Decorated Armor], Chest [Clawshaper Gauntlets] (heroic), Hands [Girdle of Ferocity] (heroic), Waist [Yaungol Slayer's Legguards], Legs [Hero's Boots], Feet [Themios the Darkbringer], Bow (left) [Accursed Bow of the Elite], Bow (middle) [Arathar, the Eye of Flame] (heroic), Bow (right) Hi! It's been a while. I felt like creating a hunter transmog - the legs and shoulders are hunter only - from some of the new gear in MoP. I haven't played actively for about a year and it was fun to mess around with the new tiers that I haven't seen before. Take care! |

Trial Priest transmog - Flying tiger, hidden exp. gain
Sometimes I get a strong urge to play WoW, but I know that once I buy game time I grow tired of playing after a week or two. So when the WoW fever hit me this time I decided to just play the trial version of the game, which allows you to play for an unlimited time for free up to level 20 with some restrictions. I created a priest (since obviously, I love priests) called Mysfox (which is a kind of couples' dance), and I managed to get almost all of the best possible trial gear for her except the arena trinket and heirlooms. But since I am crazy about transmogs, of course I had to look as stylish as possible even as a level 20.
The range of transmog items at level 20 is scarce, so I had to work with what was available. No item my priest is wearing is priest-only, except for the staff. I originally wanted to use the [Staff of the Friar] for this transmog, but it hasn't dropped for me yet, so I decided to go with this priest-only staff instead. Furthermore, the goggles are only wearable as an engineer, and you have to craft them yourself. The mount is only available to those who already have it on a real account, connected to the same battle.net ID as their trial account.
If you want to see what items I am wearing underneath the transmog, check out my armory.

Cloth transmog - Desert nomad

Here's yet another cloth transmog. I'm not quite sure why I think the cloth ones are the most fun to make; it might be because I love robes in game, but irl I never wear dresses. Strange.
Anyhow, this transmog was meant to be for warlocks, but once again I realized when I was finished that I hadn't used any pieces that are exclusives for warlocks. The shoulders in this set are horde only, however, so it's only available for horde players.
[Firewool Cowl], Head
[Mantle of Revered Mortality] (horde), Shoulders
[Robes of Faltered Light], Chest
[Gloves of Pandemonium], Hands
[Cord of Reconstruction], Waist
[Oilfoot Slippers], Feet
[Wrathful Gladiator's War Staff], Staff

Shaman transmog - Savages
I know there are plenty of awesome looking fist weapons out there, but I felt compelled to use one that would colour-match these shoulders. That was also the reason why I picked this bland belt.
The head I used for this set looks good on almost any class because of the hair attached to it. It is not easy to come by as it requires the Challenge Conqueror: Gold-achievement. Good luck!
[Windfury Mask], Head
[Defiler's Mail Pauldrons] (alliance/horde), Shoulders
[Worldfire Chestguard], Chest
[Proto-Handler's Gauntlets] (heroic), Hands
[Investigator's Belt] (alliance/horde), Waist

[Dreadful Gladiator's Sabatons of Cruelty], Feet
[Claws of Gekkan], One-hand fist weapon (left)
[Wrathful Gladiator's Pummeler], One-hand mace (below)
[Troll Protector], Shield (below)
