Mage transmog - Stitched magic

[Cataclysmic Gladiator's Silk Cowl] (season 11), Head
[Cataclysmic Gladiator's Silk Amice] (season 11), Shoulder
[Hisek's Chrysanthemum Cape] (raid finder), Back
[Mystic's Robe], Chest
[Gloves of the Chromatic Hydra] (heroic), Hands
[Vita-Binder Wrap] (heroic thunderforged), Waist
[Staff of Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan], Staff (left)
[Spire of Scarlet Pain] (heroic), Staff (bottom)

The robe looks kind of lonely here as the only green item, but the robe is actually what the whole transmog derived from. I have a thing for low level green items, and this robe made me think of trolls, so I decided to make a transmog for troll mages!

If you choose another weapon with this, I would recommend either [Enchanter's Illusion - Power Torrent] or [Enchanter's Illusion - Elemental Force] as weapon glows to go with the transmog.

Trial Priest transmog - Flying tiger, hidden exp. gain

Sometimes I get a strong urge to play WoW, but I know that once I buy game time I grow tired of playing after a week or two. So when the WoW fever hit me this time I decided to just play the trial version of the game, which allows you to play for an unlimited time for free up to level 20 with some restrictions.

I created a priest (since obviously, I love priests) called Mysfox (which is a kind of couples' dance), and I managed to get almost all of the best possible trial gear for her except the arena trinket and heirlooms. But since I am crazy about transmogs, of course I had to look as stylish as possible even as a level 20.

The range of transmog items at level 20 is scarce, so I had to work with what was available. No item my priest is wearing is priest-only, except for the staff. I originally wanted to use the [Staff of the Friar] for this transmog, but it hasn't dropped for me yet, so I decided to go with this priest-only staff instead. Furthermore, the goggles are only wearable as an engineer, and you have to craft them yourself. The mount is only available to those who already have it on a real account, connected to the same battle.net ID as their trial account.

If you want to see what items I am wearing underneath the transmog, check out my armory.

[Flying Tiger Goggles], Head (Engineering)
[Feline Mantle], Shoulders
[Fur Covered Robe], Chest
[Seer's Gloves], Hands
[Wisp-Chaser Cord], Waist
[Staff of the Hallowed], Staff (Priest quest)
[2H Weapon - Minor Impact], Enchant (blue, uppper)
[2H Weapon - Lesser Intellect], Enchant (yellow, lower)
[Raven Lord], Mount

Cloth transmog - Desert nomad

Here's yet another cloth transmog. I'm not quite sure why I think the cloth ones are the most fun to make; it might be because I love robes in game, but irl I never wear dresses. Strange.

Anyhow, this transmog was meant to be for warlocks, but once again I realized when I was finished that I hadn't used any pieces that are exclusives for warlocks. The shoulders in this set are horde only, however, so it's only available for horde players.

[Firewool Cowl], Head
[Mantle of Revered Mortality] (horde), Shoulders
[Robes of Faltered Light], Chest
[Gloves of Pandemonium], Hands
[Cord of Reconstruction], Waist
[Oilfoot Slippers], Feet
[Wrathful Gladiator's War Staff], Staff

Mage transmog - Gilded sorcery

[Ruthless Gladiator's Silk Cowl], Head
[Shoulders of Ruinous Senility] (heroic), Shoulders
[Bloodsoul Raiment] (heroic), Chest
[Handwraps of Flowing Thought], Hands
[Girdle of Endemic Anger], Waist
[Bonecaster's Boots], Feet
[Uhn'agh Fash, the Darkest Betrayal], Dagger
[Fan of Fiery Winds] (raid finder), Off-hand

I'm not really sure what head this is; when I created this transmog in mogit I simply used the only head that I thought would match this outfit well. I don't play PvP and I don't keep track of what item sets that have expired. If this one is unobtainable I apologize! Maybe exchanging it for the [Collar of the Aldor] or the [Conqueror's Kirin Tor Hood] would work?

The shoulders are from the Warlock t10 recolour set, while the robe is from the Priest t10 recolour set. If you're lucky you might get both in the same ICC heroic run. The dagger is actually an agility weapon, but since it's from an old raid, I think stealing it for transmog would be OK...

Cloth transmog - Witchcrafting

Sooo... "red" seems to have been a recurring theme the last few days. I'm not quite sure why all my latest transmogs are based on that colour, but I sure hope you guys like red. This particular transmog is red since both of my last warlock designs were green and/or purple, so I thought I'd try on a new colour. Red seemed like a good color for someone who allies himself with demons.

Shoes and shoulders might be a pain to get by the way.

[Cowl of the Grand Engineer], Head
[Mantle of the Corrupted], Shoulders
[Demonweave Raiment], Chest
[Cuffs of Black Elements], Wrists
[Lava Burn Gloves], Hands
[Cord of Screaming Terrors], Waist
[Leggings of Unfinished Conquest], Legs
[Furious Gladiator's Slippers of Dominance], Feet
[Staff of the Shade], Staff (left)
[Tower of the Mouldering Corpse], Staff (bottom)

This was meant to be a warlock transmog, but when I was finished I realized I hadn't used a single piece that was warlock only. Thus, this transmog works for any cloth class... but I still think it looks a bit too sinister for a mage or a priest. ;)

Mage transmog - Enlightened arcanist

[Incanter's Cowl], Head
[Arcanist Mantle], Shoulders
[Firehawk Robes] (heroic), Chest
[Gloves of Penitence], Hands
[Sash of Jordan], Waist
[Replica Devout Sandals], Feet
[Enlightenment], Staff

I started with the cowl when I created this mage transmog and worked with the colours in it. I came across this lovely staff while looking for gear with matching colours and decided to go with this even though it is a bit over-used. If you think purple is the right colour for your mage then this set might be worth aiming for.

I decided to use a gnome as a model, because I think both the cowl and the shoulderpads look better on a gnome model than on the taller races. I'm not quite sure why but I like that parts of the shoulders are hidden inside the headpiece, making them look smaller. It makes the outfit look different than it otherwise would.

Mage transmog - Burning magic 2.0

Sunlitfury and I became friends after a few weeks of guild raiding. I can only imagine what it would be like having me as a friend; one of the first things I said to him was that we HAVE to get him a proper transmog. When I first met him he was wearing gear from different tiers and mixed raid finder, normal and heroic gear, so I offered to help him out. He plays as a fire mage and wanted a flame-inspired gear so I suggested the mage transmog I previously uploaded called Burning magic. I gave him a few alternatives, including this one that I'm now uploading, which resembles my original Burning magic transmog but with different belt, robe, gloves and shoes. He bought the [Spire of Scarlet Pain] from me but unfortunately it doesn't hide weapon enchants, so half the time it has a purple glow. It's still a cool transmog for a fire mage though, and Sunlit looks amazing in it!

[Circle of Flame], Head
[Mantle of the Elven Kings], Shoulders
[Bloodfyre Robes of Annihilation], Chest
[Gossamer Gloves], Hands
[Mage-Fury Girdle], Waist
[Extravagant Boots of Malice], Feet
[Spire of Scarlet Pain], Staff
[Power Torrent], Weapon enchant

This transmog is available for any cloth class.

Priest transmog - Benevolent priest

I apologize for my lack of updates the last month! As you might have figured out, my playtime ran out and I never bothered to refill it. I still have to put together a hunter and a dk outfit and I promise that I will do it once I start playing WoW again, but in the meantime I'll show you yet another cloth outfit (which actually is the one my inactive priest is wearing - you can check it out on her armory). This outfit is available for any cloth class but looks best on a priest in my opinion, since it contains recoloured pieces from the priest t6.

[Cowl of Benevolence], Head
[Windchanneller's Mantle], Shoulders
[Garments of Temperance], Chest
[Sage's Gloves], Hands
[Aerie Belt], Waist
[Titansteel Guardian], Mace, Main hand
[Tears of Heaven], Off-hand

I actually love this outfit, mainly because of the colours; beige, brown and blue is a really nice mix. The mace hides the weapon's enchant neatly with its own glow affect, and the off-hand I used for this is just lovely!

The head and the robe are parts from the priest t6 look-alike set and they both drop in Black Temple. Just in case the robe refuses to drop for you I'd like to recommend the raid finder-version of [Robes of Dying Light] instead; it actually fits this outfit really well too!

I refused to use the shoulders that go with the priest t6 look-alike set (I mean, really? Undead faces on your shoulders? What were they thinking?) and it took me forever to find a matching pair of shoulders that would be a nice substitution. The shoulders that I ended up with, [Windchanneller's Mantle], were actually tricky to come by and required exalted reputation with The Consortium, if I remember correctly, as well as a massive quest chain in Netherstorm (starting here in case you haven't done it already (which I hadn't)).

Fortunately, the gloves, belt, mace and off-hand were really easy to get. Good luck!

Mage transmog - Burning magic

I thought it was about time I uploaded some new inspiration. This is an outfit that I originally used for my priest - it is available for all cloth classes - but I think a fire mage would be able to lift this look to its full potential.

[Circle of Flame], Head
[Mantle of the Elven Kings], Shoulders
[Vermillion Robes of the Dominant], Chest
[Don Tayo's Inferno Mittens], Hands
[Sash of Serpentra], Waist
[Kavan's Foresaken Treads], Feet
[Staff of the Sunchaser], Staff (left), or
[Spire of Scarlet Pain], Staff (right)

As said, this transmog works for all cloth classes since it contains no class specific pieces. For a healing priest with main hand mace and an off-hand weapon, [Truncheon of Five Hells] (which hides enchants) together with [Darkmist Orb] are nice alternatives. This is a fairly easy set to obtain, so good luck!

EDIT: Also check out my newer, similar version of this set.
