Paladin transmog - Two sides of the story

Here I have two similiar yet different transmogs! The shoulders and legs are the same, and the chest and hand pieces are the same models on both transmogs, but both have different color schemes. They are supposed to represent alliance and horde, although I like the red-purple one better and I'd more likely use that one on my human paladin. ;)

To me it's a bit shocking how sexualized the female plate armor is, especially that before level 70 (but alot of gear after level 70 is very sexualized and revealing too). Have you guys ever noticed that? No? Lots and lots of boob breastplates and revealing holes in the gear - where a deadly spear easily would find its target. Alot of these pieces have a different, more covering, model for male characters. I guess women in revealing clothes is so common to us that we don't question it - even when men get to wear empowering gear right next to the scantily clad women. Yet I can't stop using the sexier kind of gear. I feel a little ashamed...

HUMAN
[Greathelm of the Warchief], Head
[Immolation Pauldrons] (heroic), Shoulders
[Ruthless Gladiator's Cloak] (season 10), Back
[Soul Saver's Chest Plate] (alliance quest), Chest
[Force Imbued Gauntlets], Hands
[Stalwart Girdle] (alliance quest), Waist
[Lavacrest Leggings], Legs
[Ravenskar Sabatons], Feet
[Face of the Guardian], Shield
[Hoof of Yalnu], One-hand mace (upper)
[Mantid Sky Reaver], One-hand sword (bottom)

Hunter transmog - Something fishy

[Ravenchain Helm] (neutral quest), Head
[Feludius' Mantle] (heroic), Shoulders
[Cloak of Violent Harmony] (drop), Cloak
[Carapace of Segmented Scale] (vendor), Chest
[Laughing Skull Orcs Tabard] (horde), Tabard
[Gloves of Ghostly Dreams] (vendor), Hands
[Lifecycle Waistguard] (heroic), Waist
[Outrider Chainmail] (neutral quest), Legs
[Boots of Az'galada] (heroic), Feet
[Black Iron Sniper Rifle] (normal), Gun (left)
[Njorndar Bone Bow] (normal), Bow (right)
I think we've all noticed by now that Blizzard loves to give dead animal heads to hunters. I felt inspired when I saw this head that I think looks like a gawking fish (because who doesn't want a fish head on your head?). This is a mix of epic dungeon and raid items, quest rewards and vendor items. I always feel pleased when I find use for uncommon and rare items, and not just epics!

The head is actually the only exclusive hunter item on this transmog so most of it can be worn by shamans as well... (although that would look kind of weird).

Warrior transmog - Siegebreaker

[Valorous Siegebreaker Helmet], Head
[Stormforged Shoulders], Shoulders
[Battleplate of Resounding Rings], Chest
[Gloves of Transcription], Hands
[Belt of the Ringworm], Waist
[Riptide Legguards] (alliance/horde), Legs
[Plankwalking Greaves], Feet
[Rigid Greatsword], Sword, Two-hand (left)
[Troll Butcherer], Sword, Two-hand (right)

Maybe this isn't the fanciest looking transmog, but I always feel pleased when I manage to achieve something that matches this well using mostly greens and blues. Since alot of the items are greens/blues there are alternatives with the same appearance if you think the drop rate to the ones I linked is too low or if you've already completed that particular quest.

Monk transmog - Mountainscale

[Fuzzy Headcover], Head
[Wastewalker Shoulderpads], Shoulders
[Mountainscaler Hide Robes], Chest
[Armwraps of the Kaldorei Protector], Wrists
[Marshseeker Gloves], Hands
[Belt of Swift Failure], Waist
[Mountainscaler Hide Legguards], Legs
[Anomuran Footpads], Feet (a/h)
[Angerfang Spear], Polearm

When I started making this I was really excited to make a monk transmog, but once I started looking at gear I realized how hard it is to put together an outfit for a monk. The only tier gear they have is (obviously) tier 14 which my MogIt doesn't have yet (I might have to check if there's an update ready...), so I tried to create an outfit out of old leather pieces.

This gear is wearable by any leather class but I decided to label it as a monk transmog since that's what I intended it to be. I used the head as a foundation for this one and tried to work with colours that would go well with it. I don't really know why, but I really like the model of this head gear and I think it fits a mysterious monk pretty well.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you anything fancier than a set full of greens for my first monk transmog, but I still like this and I hope that maybe it will grow on you as well. If it doesnt, maybe you will like my next monk transmog better ^^

Mage transmog - Burning magic

I thought it was about time I uploaded some new inspiration. This is an outfit that I originally used for my priest - it is available for all cloth classes - but I think a fire mage would be able to lift this look to its full potential.

[Circle of Flame], Head
[Mantle of the Elven Kings], Shoulders
[Vermillion Robes of the Dominant], Chest
[Don Tayo's Inferno Mittens], Hands
[Sash of Serpentra], Waist
[Kavan's Foresaken Treads], Feet
[Staff of the Sunchaser], Staff (left), or
[Spire of Scarlet Pain], Staff (right)

As said, this transmog works for all cloth classes since it contains no class specific pieces. For a healing priest with main hand mace and an off-hand weapon, [Truncheon of Five Hells] (which hides enchants) together with [Darkmist Orb] are nice alternatives. This is a fairly easy set to obtain, so good luck!

EDIT: Also check out my newer, similar version of this set.
